Local Development (Docker + FrankenPHP Octane)
Everything runs in containers; no PHP/Composer is required on the host.
- Build the FrankenPHP image (installs PHP extensions, Composer, git):
docker compose build - Start the stack (app + PostgreSQL + Redis):
docker compose up -d app pgsql redis - Tail app logs:
docker compose logs -f app - Run framework commands:
docker compose exec app php artisan migrate - Stop and clean up:
docker compose down(add-vto drop databases/Redis data)
Notes:
docker/app/entrypoint.shwill runcomposer install, copy.envif missing, generateAPP_KEY, and boot Octane with--watch.- Config sets
OCTANE_SERVER=frankenphpby default (see.envandconfig/octane.php). - PostgreSQL service: host
